Testing the Javascript Image Popup Window

Posted on Thursday 5 January 2006

panoramaEven though Wordpress has its own image upload and thumbnail creation feature, I’m still doing things The Old Fashioned Way. I use Thumbscrew to create the thumbnails (like the one on the right – one of Chris John’s outstanding golf course panoramas) then upload both the thumbnail and the original picture. I then insert the thumbnail into the post (using MarsEdit, but any client will do) and use Javascript to make it a link to a popup window.

I’m really liking how this place is looking. Good work.
